Disneyland

Yesterday we went to Disneyland and it was awesome. We got up early and left as soon as we could so that we didn’t have to wait hours in line for the Big Thunder Mountain ride. The morning was quite entertaining for me as Mum and Max were trying to push through to get onto the shuttle and trying to rush everywhere while dad was just cruising along and taking his time. It was very funny watching Mum and Max try to stay calm. 

Anyway we made it there and didn’t have to wait in line and the ride was AWESOME! The cart was a train and you went speeding around corners and flying up and down rises on the ‘mountain’. The ride also took you through dark parts where you couldn’t see which was so fun because you didn’t know where you were going and it made it even more exhilarating! 

We spent the rest of the morning going on a few other rides and getting absolutely drenched by the pouring rain. We were all so cold that after we had lunch we made the call to go back to the hotel until the rain stopped because otherwise we would have been wet and cold the rest of the day and it would have made it hard to enjoy. 

We definitely made the right call because a few hours later the rain stopped and we went back to the park and had the time of our lives! Dad took me and Max on the hyperspace mountain ride which was one of my top rides along with the Big Thunder Mountain. Dad didn’t like it so much but me and Max loved it and the two of us went on it twice more after that. It was all in the dark and had amazing lights, it had two 360 loops but they weren’t bad ones like the Indiana Jones ride that forced your head down so you couldn’t see anything but it was big and you could see planets as you went around. 

Over all the day was incredible. We also went on the story rides which were pretty cool but the best ones were definitely the thrill rides. So if you don’t get bad motion sickness I suggest you go on the big thrill rides if you ever go to Disneyland because they are worth the wait.

Euro Disney!!

To start off the day we explored our new buffet breakfast choices, Yummy. We then got on a shuttle to Euro Disney! On the shuttle we noticed that it had started to rain quite heavily and put our jackets on. When we left the warm comfort of the shuttle we realised just how cold and wet it was. Mum and I did our research and discovered we had to get there early to beat the crowd for the most popular ride called Thunder Mountain. The ride was inside a train carriage and it went really fast round the corners and under the water at the start. Despite all this, this wasn't my favourite ride. My favourite ride was called Hyper Space Mountain. It was a rollercoaster that shot you up about 20 meters before dropping into a pitch black building. In the building you did a series of loops, twists and cork screws. This rollercoaster was the best rollercoaster I've ever been on. After we did the main rides we decided it was too wet and came back to the apartment for lunch. We took a risk and went back in the wet but it seemed to clear up on the shuttle so we were happy. We then did a few more different story rides. These were Mum’s favourites. After those we got dinner in a French named restaurant in the park. I had a delicious hot dog and so did Alyssa. Mum got a healthy vege burger while Dad got his own half of a chicken. After dinner we went on this massive slotcar looking track it was way more fun than I thought. Maybe because Alyssa was getting a driving lesson by Dad while me and mum were driving behind them yelling there's a cow in front of you or cop on your left sometimes even watch out for the snail and don’t drop crumbs on the seat! I had a blast on the rides. 

We stayed at the park until 10:50 to see the famous lightshow and fire works. This was like nothing I've ever seen before, it was phenomenal in Mum’s words. The lights were projected up on this massive castle. Most of the Disney movie characters had a part in the light show it was awesome. After the light show finished it was midnight and everyone was tired. So we went in the wrong direction to the bus stop, this did not sit well with Alyssa. Then we found the buses and off we went. Not without a few told you so's from Alyssa though. We got back to the apartment around 12:30 and went straight to bed so we could do it all again tomorrow.
