In my opinion Budapest is the best! Budapest was the first major city that I have felt really safe in, so it made it easier to enjoy. We also did a lot of fun activities like caving and going to a pinball museum. Budapest also had a lot of stunning buildings with incredible detail on them. They were even more incredible at night which we got to experience on the night cruise.
The best part of our Budapest experience however, was definitely the caving. We had a really nice guide who was helpful and funny. He also let me and Max go in the front and then he went between us and mum, he said it was so she wouldn’t need to keep telling us to be careful all the time! We got to crawl through small tunnels and slide down the natural clay slides. We were all very dusty and sweaty when we reamaerged to the surface but boy did we have fun.
The night river cruise was also really cool because we got to see all of the awesome buildings lit up. I think being on the river made the buildings and bridges look more amazing because they also had beautiful reflections on the water. The only downside of the cruise was that we were out the back and there was a stinky smokey Joe stinking out the whole back of the boat with his never ending pack of cigarettes. So other than Smokey Joe, the cruise was a big hit!
Budapest was a great place to visit and I would definitely go back there when I'm older if I decide to go travelling.
