Today we woke up in Zagreb in Croatia. I think that this leg of the trip will be my favourite because of all the swimming and beaches. We didn't really have a plan for today so we decided to explore aimlessly and try to experience Zagreb in the day. This is quite hard to write about because the day mainly consisted of walking to find cool stuff. In the early morning me and Alyssa set out to find our souvenirs from Zagreb. I got an awesome sailors cap. I think it's the best hat I've ever brought. Alyssa got her usual magnet and a little something for her friends. After the shopping we went to a mall because it was bucketing down with rain. Here everyone except me got a pair of shorts. I want to get a hoodie from C&A. It's very cool. We also got lunch and regrouped, to quote Dad. After lunch we went on a thrilling 1 minute long funicular. This consisted of about 30 second of extremely slow movements at the end of the line. After our big thrill we started to waddle our way back to the apartment. About halfway through our waddling mission to get back we realised we were close to the tunnels used in the war or the grics. This was very cool and Alyssa even gave us a very awkward demo of how the holes in the walls were used. Hysterical! We waddled back to our apartment got dinner and went to bed.
