Today we got up nice and late which was amazing and then started our online scavenger hunt around the town. We visited some amazing churches and some cool hustoric monuments. Mid way through the hunt we stopped to go on a boat tour. We went up and back down the canal and learnt a bit about the history of Colmar. After finishing the boat ride we went back to the house for a bit of a break. Feeling refreshed and energetic we did the last 3 stops on the hunt. The hunt came to a close at a scupture sculpted by the designer of the Statue of Liberty! I thought this was very cool. We completed the hunt with a smile on our faces and headed back to the house excited that we didn't have to do anything early in the morning tomorrow so we could sleep in again.

Some interesting facts about Colmar.
- Colmar has over time been a part of Germany and France. To make the argument go away about which country the people belong to, they call themselves Alsatians.
- The houses were coloured based on the person’s occupation or religion back in the day.
- The houses still have the attached toilets to them that used to drop right into the river.
Love all the smiles. What awesome memories you are making together xx
