Today we got up on the verge of early but not that early. We were very excited because today was the day that we would go caving under Budapest, yes caving! We had to kill some time before going to the cave tour so we decided to go to a market. Alyssa got her usual, a magnet for her collection. Shockingly Mum didn't decide to buy a Christmas decoration but she did buy Alyssa a Friends themed Budapest top. I got a treasure chest from Budapest, just like the song and one more unmentionable thing for a present. By the way the song is Budapest by George Ezra I would recommend listening to it, it is very good. After our time killing activities it was time to start making our way to cave. What we didn't realise is that it was raining cats and dogs outside, this had us wondering if we were going to do the caving after all. To my absolute relief we did. Although we had to wait about 20 minutes for the rain to stop we hightailed our way to the cave site. When we arrived we got an ice cream and a drink. Srupmdidlyuptious. We finished our food and realized that we were in the wrong place! We weren't that far away from the place we were meant to be in, I'm talking 20 or 30 meters. I had you fooled I know it. We were in the caves for 2 and a half hours. It was one of the best activities I have done ever. We squeezed through tiny gaps, slid down natural mud slides and armycrawled through small tunnels. Surprisingly this wasn't very claustrophobic. I probably can't say that as I don't get claustrophobic. When the tour guide said this is the end of the tour it wasn't the best feeling but I thoroughly enjoyed it. No, I was ecstatic. This is something I would do every time I come here, thanks to this caving experience I definitely will. The tour guides name is a bit hard to spell so I'll call him Tom. Tom was fun and entertaining while also teaching us about all of the different types of rocks and micro crystals. He also asked us what we like to do and talked to us about that. Tom was very very cool. Tom was the 2nd coolest Tom ever next to the tank engine of course. Although Tom wasn't his real name I think he deserves that ranking. When we emerged from the deep depths of the cave, me and Dad had the Chambers sweats! My hair looked like I went swimming and Dad's shirt looked the same. Finding our way back home seemed a little more challenging than getting there because we couldn't walk across the bridge that we were close to. It wasn't a problem though because we caught a tram. This may or may not have caused some tensions. I'm not quite sure. We made it back with no scratches (I don't think) and had showers and went to sleep.

Maxilicious you sure make us feel we're there with you with the way you write! What an awesome experience at the caves. Tom will be happy he's ranked right up there with a tank engine 😂😂 What amazing pictures.
