Feet, Train, Plane, Car

Today we left Athens and made our way to the Greek Island of Kephalonia. It was a big travel day in the heat. Athens airport was extremely busy. We eventually caught a small plane to the island. The flight provided a fabulous view over the country. The day went smoothly until the car leg of our journey. Before we left Rich had sorted out car rental insurance. Turns out in Greece this is not acceptable. After a long discussion with the lady behind the desk we ended up having to go with the insurance provided by the company. Because as the lady said, “don’t forget I have the car”. Thankfully our insurance was refundable. The drive across the island provided stunning views as the sun was setting. Once we were settled in we went out for dinner. Greek food is definitely my favourite! So fresh and unbelievably delicious, yummy!
