We were reminded today about how disgraceful the weather is back home. Luckily I have found a way of coping with this tragic news. Relaxing and swimming at the beach in 30 degree weather for a week. That should do it.
The first part of the day was spent swimming at the beach until lunch. We went and had 2 minute noodles for lunch before swimming until dinner. Last night mum got a chicken gyro from a restaurant and said it was sooooo good. Mum wasn't feeling to flash today so Alyssa, Dad and I went down to the same restaurant and got the same thing. It was so good. Over here the restaurants don't have yucky old meat. What they do have is a huge pole with a giant roll of either pork or chicken. They shave off the cooked meat every once and a while and the meat is so juicy and fresh. My kind of meat!
After dinner me and Dad climbed the neighbouring hill and watched the sun set. Dad got a few scars to show for climbing over a fallen tree. We got back to the apartment at about 10 and went to sleep.
