Many many slaps

Today we awoke in Plitvice National Park. This is a pretty small
town that revolves around the waterfall park. Although you can't swim in the pools beneath these waterfalls you can admire and respect the reasons why. These waterfalls are amazing, with a capital A, so Amazing. To start off the day we spent a while trying to find a park, we even did a semi off road section looking for a space. Hot tip if you go here there's nothing down that road. After we found a park we headed for the entrance. We got in the park and decided to do track C, looking back this was quite optimistic as it was a 4 - 6 hour walk. After we turned the first corner we realised just how cool this was going to be. We were faced with a 35 metre tall waterfall with other 23 metre slaps next to it. (slaps is Croatian for waterfalls. It's just a bonus it is funny and fun to say.) After walking for about 20 minutes and looking at all of the bright greeny blue pools, I realised  just how dirty most of the water in the world is. Luckily I'm not someone to ramble on about global warming so we will carry on.
We walked for about 10 more minutes before discovering a boat ride down the river. We were quick to take up this opportunity but not before getting a quick drink. Mum and I got a Fanta, Dad got a coffee and Alyssa sort of got a hot chocolate. When I say sort of I mean she dropped it but still managed to salvage a small mouthful from the cup covered in mud. This was absolutely hysterical. You can imagine my sympathy when she dropped it. 🤣. After the great spillage we moved on to the boat ride this was awesome! Alyssa didn't have much time to appreciate this because she was reminded of her exams, this was funny because she wouldn't stop talking about them for the whole ride. Soon she will learn what I learnt at the start of this trip. If you talk too much everyone starts to zone out and not listen when you talk after a while. It's OK though because I find myself funny. We caught the boat, got some lunch and then explored more. We decided not to follow just 1 of the tracks but to go to where all the waterfalls are. This was smart as we saw all of the cool ones. Just look at the pictures!
After the walk we headed back to the hotel and I hit the pool. No one else was brave enough to go in the water. Let's just say it was refreshing. We had to get ready to pack at night so we could make the most of tomorrow. This has been Max and thank-you for reading.

My nicknames have been inspired by other people so if you have any that you call me please put them in the comments so I can use them.

I’m going to conclude by simply saying that today was a fantastic family day, in one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. It is a day that I will treasure.
